Voltmetrix 2023

Introduction

We just left behind 2023, and we are already in 2024. It's time to look back and see what we have achieved in the past year. I'm not one to feel nostalgia or melancholy for the past, but I believe it's important to reflect on what we've done, achieved, and learned. This is my way of improving and being better in the future.

2023: A Year in Review

Last year, we launched several initiatives, and we're very proud of them. We learned a lot and are excited about the future. We'll review the most important things we launched last year.

  • Availability in four clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, and Digital Ocean). We enabled our engine to interact with four providers, giving our customers the chance to choose their preferred one in more than 60 regions. Microsoft Azure was the last one we added to our list.
  • We expanded our catalog to 13 solutions related to data ingestion, processing, and visualization. We're very proud of our catalog and are working hard to add more solutions this year.
  • We introduced Voltmetrix Launchpad. This tool allows you to deploy a solution in just a few minutes. You can select the solution you want to deploy, the cloud provider, and the region. You can also choose the size of the instance and the storage and deploy it in literally 3 minutes. We're excited about this tool and are working hard to improve it in 2024.
  • We started the development of Voltmetrix WaveStream, our own database engine. We're very excited about this project and are working diligently to launch it in 2024.
  • We began the development of Voltmetrix Sentinel, our own observability tool packaged as an end product. We're working hard to launch it with full capabilities in 2024.
  • We partnered with InfluxData, a collaboration that allows InfluxDB customers to access professional services.
  • We announced alliances in several Latin American countries. To name a few: Morris & Opazzo, Software.com.br, and Fusion in Argentina, along with GISSAC in Peru.
  • We launched our YouTube Channel. For now, we have 2 videos, but we are looking to expand the content on that channel in 2024.

As you can see, we had a very busy year, and we are very proud of what we achieved. We are very excited about 2024.

2024 and Beyond

2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for us. We're working hard to launch our own database engine and observability tool. We're also striving to expand our catalog and our market presence. We're excited about the future and working hard to make it a great year.

None of this would be possible without the team at Voltmetrix. To that end, we're hosting our very first Sales Kick Off (SKO) in El Salvador in a few days. We'll spend time together working, learning, and having fun, unveiling our plans for 2024 in terms of Business, Technology, and Marketing.

After that event, we'll start sharing our plans with you, so stay tuned.
